About the Jeppiaar Engineering College
The Jeppiaar Engineering College was established on 15 August 2001 by the chairman Dr. Jeppiaar, JEC which is one of the institutions of the Jeppiaar Educational Trust (JET). The JET was formed in 1987. It is also the institutions of the Christian Minority which were established by the JET. The director and principal of the college are Dr. Regeena Jeppiaar and Mrs. Sathyabama respectively. The Jeppiaar Engineering College is a Self Financing institute and fully functional. It maintains the educations for both girls and boys but separately.
The college is situated in the Semmenchery Village of Chennai which is located at the old Mamallapuram road near Rajiv Gandhi Salai. Also, the college is located near the Kamaraj Nagar in Sholinganallur in Tamil Nadu. The college provides the competitive global environment to the students.
The aim of the college is to provide the competitive environment, the employment information and develop personality programs in the college. The Anna University, Chennai provided the affiliation and All India Council for Technical Education and Govt. of India approved the Jeppiaar Engineering College, Chennai. The Jeppiaar College enables the candidates to achieve by dedication them to innovative learning. The college has AAA+ rank in 2015 in the state of Tamil Nadu.
