The Chennai Institute of Technology, Chennai was established by the PSET (Parthasarathy Seeniammal Educational Trust) in 2010 under the guidance of Mr. P. Sriram who is a first-gen entrepreneur-cum-industrialist. The college is affiliated to the Anna University, Chennai and approval are granted by the AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education).
