Admission to the various engineering courses is granted through the entrance examination i.e. BEEE which is organized by the authority. This examination is held in the month of April every year. The students are chosen for the further rounds only through the merit list prepared after the examination. The exam is purely organized to fill the vacant seats and to offer the admissions in the offered courses. Admission to management courses is given through BGEET examination and admission to architecture is given through NATA scores.
