Govt. of West Bengal has implemented Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) Scheme for meritorious and economically backward students who are looking for admission to self-financing colleges/universities, government colleges of West Bengal offering various courses in the field of pharmacy/engineering/technology/architecture. In order to avail this benefit, candidates must have domicile of West Bengal state and it needs to be uploaded during WBJEE online application.
Candidates whose total annual family income is less than Rs. 2.50 lakhs are eligible for this waiver but they will have to produce income certificate against the same. Please keep in mind that the waiver is limited to tuition fee-only, all other fees will be paid by you only.
Seats Availability under TFW Scheme
- Seats in any university/university department will be decided by the concerned authority.
- In self-financed and govt. Engg/Tech/Pharma colleges, maximum 5% of sanctioned intake for each course available and it will be on the supplementary basis.
- Suppose any seats of this category remains vacant due to some reason then the same will be allotted to other category candidates.
