Uttarakhand B.tech Entrance Exam 2022

For Uttarakhand engineering 2022, candidates will need to appear for either of the two entrance exams i.e. UKSEE or JEE Main.

1. Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination (UKSEE): Candidates who want to pursue engineering through lateral entry in the 3^rd semester of the engineering will need to appear for the UKSEE exam. The UKSEE entrance exam is conducted annually for admission in various disciplines of engineering offered by the Uttarakhand Technical University. Students can avail the application form for UKSEE 2022 in the 3^rd week of April 2022.

2. Joint Entrance Exam Main (JEE Main): JEE Main Exam is conducted annually by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admission into premier engineering institutes of the country such as IITs, NITs and Centrally Funded Technical Institutions across India. For Admission through JEE

• An applicant must be less than 26 years old as on 1^st October 2022. However, Age relaxation of 5 years will be given to the candidates belonging to SC, ST and PWD categories.
• A candidate must have passed class 12^th with Physics, Mathematics and any one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects from a recognized board.
• Diploma holders and candidates appearing in the qualifying exam in 2022 can also apply.
• Aadhar number will be mandatory for students for the entrance as well as admission.

For Admission through UKSEE

• A candidate should possess a valid domicile of Uttarakhand.
• A candidate should have passed Diploma examination in Engineering/Technology from an AICTE approved institute.

• A candidate should have passed B.Sc degree from a UGC recognized university and passed class 12^th with mathematics as compulsory subject.
• Candidates must have scored minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates).

Note: Students who have passed B.Sc will need to clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics / Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering program along with the second year subjects.

Students can fill the application form for UKSEE in the 3^rd week of April 2022. The application form will only be available through online mode and no other mode will be entertained by the authorities conducting the exam.
