The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) which will be conducted by the Govt. of Tamil Nadu is responsible for conducting Engineering admissions to the various institutions in the state of Tamil Nadu. Unlike the usual engineering entrance exams, TNEA admissions are based on the candidates’ marks in the HSC exam. The candidates who scored high ranks in the HSC exam will get higher preference in admission than the candidate who scored fewer marks.

Enter your HSC score; other personal information and Upload a Photo (Check Photo upload Guidelines) and then click on ‘create account’.
TNEA classifies the students on the basis of their HSC percentage such as selected and wait-listed candidates. Based on the HSC percentage, the institute prepares merit list, which consists of the Name and Roll Number of the candidates.
The names of the candidates appearing in the Merit list will be required to attend the counselling conducted by the Anna University at the various centers of the state of Tamil Nadu. The results of the TNEA counseling will take a week long time.
