TANCET Eligibility Criteria 2023: Eligibility Requirements for MCA, MBA, M.E/M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan

Are you aspiring to appear in TANCET? If so, then I would suggest you verify your eligibility before you apply. In this post, I’m sharing here all possible information associated with minimum eligibility conditions for appearing in TANCET exam. Please go through the information and find your eligibility.

As you know TANCET is conducted for admission to MCA, MBA, M.E/M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan programmes. I’m sharing here programme-wise eligibility criteria for TANCET exam.

Eligibility Criteria for MBA

A recognized Bachelor’s degree of three years duration with 50% marks (45% for reserved category) either by following 10+2+3 or 10+2 years Diploma+ 3 years patter or B.Arch/B.E/B.Tech/B.Pharm or 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years diploma+ AMIE.

Eligibility Criteria for MCA

Candidates should hold a recognized Bachelor’s degree of three years duration along with Mathematics at 10+2 or Graduation level. They should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category) in the qualifying exam either by following 10+2+3/4 years pattern or 10+2 years Diploma+ 3 years pattern or 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years diploma+ AMIE.

Eligibility Criteria for MCA Lateral Entry

Candidates should hold BCA, B.Sc (Computer Science/Information Technology) with Mathematics either at 10+2 or Graduate level. They should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category) in the qualifying exam by following the 10+2+3 years’ pattern.

 Eligibility Criteria for M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Arch./M.Plan

  • Candidates should hold either B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch or B.Pharm or any Master’s degree in the related branch of Arts/Science.
  • They should be having 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years Diploma+ AMIE.

Please Keep in Mind

  • If you are interested to join Lateral entry programme then you are eligible for B.E/B.Tech/MCA degree programmes.
  • Candidates, who have obtained B.E/B.Tech in distance/weekend mode, are not allowed to apply.
  • Candidates, who have obtained a degree without completing 10th or 12th, are not allowed to apply.
  • Those are appearing in the final year or final semester of aforesaid qualifying degree excluding programmes offered by any professional institutions such as AMIE either in April or May 2021 can also apply.
  • Other states candidates are permitted to apply but their eligibility will be confirmed by admitting authority / University.
