SRMJEEE Syllabus

Candidates should know the syllabus for the SRMJEEE exam in order to start their preparation. The syllabus comprises of the topics that will be asked in the exam. Physics: Units And Measurements, Mechanics, Oscillations and Wave Motion, Gravitation, Mechanics of Solids and Fluids, Heat and Thermodynamics, Ray and Wave Optics, Electricity and Magnetism, Atomic Physics and Relativity, Dual nature of Matter and Nuclear Physics, Electronics and Communication.

Chemistry: Atomic Structure, States Of Matter, Chemical Families- Periodic Properties, Chemical Bonding, Molecular structure and s- and p- block elements, Chemical Thermodynamics and Energetics, Solutions, Chemical Equilibrium, Electrochemistry, Surface Chemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Catalysis and Nuclear Chemistry, Purification and Characterization of Organic Compounds, Some basic principles of Organic Chemistry, Hydrocarbons, Organic compounds containing Oxygen, Organic compounds containing Nitrogen, Polymers, Bio-Molecules.

Mathematics: Algebra, Sets, Relations, and Functions, Complex numbers and Quadratic Equations, Matrices, Determinants and their applications, Combinatorics, Differential Calculus and its Applications, Integral Calculus and Differential equations of First Order, Analytical Geometry, Vector Algebra, Statistics, and Probability.

Biology: Plant Anatomy, Taxonomy of Angiosperm, Cell Biology and Genetics, Biotechnology, Plant Physiology, Biology in Human Welfare.

Important Instructions to the candidates

Candidates should follow these mentioned instructions as stated by the concerned authority in order to take the test on the stipulated date and time-

• Candidates should carry the admit card and a valid ID proof while marking their entry in the exam hall.
• On verifying the identity of the candidates at the registration desk, a system will be allotted to them.
• A rough sheet will be provided to the candidates; hence they don’t need to bring the same to the exam hall.
• Electronic gadgets/study material or any other items are permitted inside the exam hall except the admit card, ID proof and a pen.
• A candidate if found to be in possession of the mentioned prohibited items will be debarred from taking the examination.
• The admit card for the exam must not be mutilated/damaged under any circumstances.
