NIIT University PhD Admission 2022: NIIT University (NU) will invite application forms for Ph.D. on the prescribed formats. The University offers doctoral courses in various streams. NIIT University PhD Admission 2022 Important Dates (tentative)

Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants need to satisfy prescribed eligibility criteria before applying NIIT University PhD admission. The required eligibility conditions are as follows:

• Candidates having Master’s degree in Sciences/ Technology/ Engineering/ with a good academic record are eligible to apply for admission.
• Candidates having BE / B.Tech degree holders with at least of CGPA of 8.85 on a 10.0 point scale or with a valid GATE Score are eligible to apply.
• Applicants who have qualified UGC NET and/or GATE etc. will be exempted from the written entrance test of the University. However, all such candidates will have to appear in the interview round to be conducted by the authorized body.

For International candidates

Foreign nationalized with foreign degrees should fulfill the minimum educational requirements as given above equivalent to an Indian Master’s degree in the related disciplines. Besides, they should have a valid GMAT / GATE /JMET/CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ATMA/ UGC or CSIR / JRF/ NET or an equivalent examination and must have quailed TOEFL score in the relevant discipline. International candidates are likely to have a working knowledge.

NIIT University PhD Admission 2022 Application Form: How to apply?

Submit the duly completed NIIT University PhD application form along with all the important documents, by using any of the following modes:

• Visit the official website of NIIT University i.e. www.niituniversity.in.
• Take the Printed copy of the completely filled in form and submit the same via post to NU Central Admissions Office at NIIT House, 85, Sector – 32, Institutional Area, Gurgaon (122001)
• Candidates can also send the printed copy of the form in person to a duly authorized commissioner, details of which are obtainable on the university website.
• Send the scanned copy through email to [email protected] along with the required documents such as class 10^th, 12^th, Graduation, and Post-Graduation mark sheet.
• All necessary documents must be submitted along with the application. If applications are submitted online, a scanned copy of all the required documents should also be enclosed.
• Candidates have to pay the applicable application fee of Rs 1,500 as Ph.D. admission form fee. Payment can be done either via an online transaction on the university website or by Demand Draft in favour of NIIT University, payable at New Delhi or through electronic transfer.
• The completed Admission Application Form should be submitted on or before the due dates.
• The university will send an acknowledgment of the receiving of the Admission Application form and send an indication about the timetable for the admission process to the registered candidate within 48 hours of receiving the application by NIIT University.

Exam Pattern

The NIIT Ph.D. admission entrance test will comprise of multiple type and/or short answer based questions from the main subject and general aptitude for research etc. The test will carry 40% weight age.

Selection Process

Selection will be made on the basis of candidate performance in the entrance exam and GDPI. Selection Committees of the particular areas will be liable for the accomplishment of the Entrance test and selection thereof.
