KIITEE Counselling: Documents Required, Counselling Process

The candidates who successfully clear their entrance exam will be invited for the KIITEE Counseling 2021. The schedule of the counseling will be posted on the official website of the institute and the candidates will have to participate in the counseling process as per the schedule. The venue of the counseling will be the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT). The counseling will be done strictly on the basis of the ranking of the candidates. The process of counseling will stop as soon as all the seats are filled up. The candidates’ parents can also attend the KIITEE Counseling 2021 on their behalf.

The complete details of the counseling procedure will be communicated to the candidates through the official university website after the declaration of the result. The process of counseling and seat allocation will be done purely on the basis of merit. At the time of counseling, the eligibility, category, certificates, etc will be verified and after complete satisfaction, seats will be allotted to the candidates. Those who fail to prove the correctness of the documents or of eligibility will be denied admission.

Important Documents

The candidates must bring the following documents at the time of KIITEE Counseling 2021 for verification. All the documents must be carried in original.

• KIITEE Admit Card
• KIITEE Rank Card
• 10^th Pass Certificate
• 12^th Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate
• Graduation Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate (for MCA, MCA (LE), M.Sc (Biotechnology/ Applied Microbiology) candidates)
• Diploma Pass Certificate and three years Mark Sheet (for Lateral Entry candidates)
• Tech/ BE/ MCA/ M.Sc. or Equivalent Degree Certificate (For M.Tech./ LLM/ Ph.D candidates)
• Relevant Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, indicating the Reservation Criteria claimed by the candidate (for reserved category candidates)
• GATE Score Card (for M.Tech GATE Qualified only)
• Demand Draft of Rs. 75,000/- which includes the counseling registration fees of Rs. 10000/- (non-refundable) in favor of KIIT, payable at Bhubaneswar.

If a candidate is not able o attend the counseling, either of his/ her parents can attend it on the behalf of the candidate. However, the parent(s) must bring these additional documents along with the ones mentioned above:

• Authorization letter from the candidate
• Identity proof with photograph
• Certificate mentioning the name of parent attending the counseling

In such cases, the admission granted will be purely provisional and the seat allotment letter will be issued only after the biometric verification of the candidate.
