KCET 2018 application form is going to be available from 1st February 2018. Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will organize the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET 2018) on 18th & 19th April 2018. The KCET is a state level entrance exam conducts for offering admission to the first year engineering, pharmacy & architecture courses.
The KCET 2018 online application will be available from 1st February 2018. Interested and eligible candidates must fill and submit their online applications on or before the due date. Through KCET scores, candidates will get admission to the particular course under the various affiliated and reputed colleges/ institutions of Karnataka state. For Pharmacy/Science Courses:
- Applicants, who have cleared 2nd PUC/12th or equivalent examination with chemistry, biology, physics and English as a language subject, are eligible to apply.
- Candidates must score minimum of 50% marks (40% marks for reserved categories) in PCB group.
- Applicants appearing in qualifying exam may also eligible to apply.
For Engineering/Architecture Courses:
- Candidate must clear 2nd PUC/12th or equivalent exam with Mathematics and Physics as a mandatory subjects and English as a language subject.
- Candidates must have secured 45% marks in physics & mathematics along with any one of the following subjects Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Electronics/Computer for general candidates and 40% marks for reserved categories.
- Appearing applicants are also eligible to apply.
KCET 2018 Application form: How to apply
The KCET 2018 application form will available on the official site of KEA from 1st Feb 2018. Applicants must fill and submit the KCET Application Form via online mode through the official website of the conducting body. No other mode will entertain for application form except online. Fill the mandatory fields very carefully and correctly. Candidates also have to upload the scanned images of photograph, signature & left thumb impression as per specifications.
- For General/OBC candidates: Rs. 650/-
- For SC/ST candidates: Rs. 500/-
Payment mode: Candidates can pay the fee through the specified bank challan. They are advised to take printouts of the application form for further use.

Applicants, who successfully register for the exam, can download the KCET 2018 admit card from the official website of the authority. The authority will release the Admit Card/hall ticket probably in the month of April 2018. Your admit card will comprise the important details about the exam such as name & roll number, examination center, exam date & timing etc.
The Result of KCET will probably announce in the month of May 2018. Candidates who will appear in the exam can check their result through official website of the authority. They need to enter their registration number, DOB on the official website in order to check/download results. Take the printouts of the result and keep it safe till the admission procedure ends.
The KCET 2018 Counselling will commence most likely in the month of June 2018. The authority will invite the candidates for counselling process according to their performance in the entrance examination. Candidates should report at the counseling process along with the original documents as per the specific date and time.
The seat allotment will be made on the basis of candidate rank, filled choices and availability of seats.
