JKLU B.Tech Admission: JKLU Jaipur is going to invite applications from interested and eligible candidates for admission into B.Tech courses probably in the month of April 2022. Important Dates for B.Tech and B.Tech Lateral Entry Programme

 Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidates must have done 10+2 from any recognized Board of Secondary Education (State Board/ Central/University Examination in India or in any foreign country recognized as equivalent to 10+2 system by the AIU) with minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST category) and minimum 50% marks or equivalent in Mathematics, Physics and any one of the four optional courses (Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, Chemistry).
• Candidates appearing/pursuing in the final examination of 10+2 may also apply. Provided, they should submit the mark sheet and a passing certificate of the examination acceptably as per the prescribed mentioned criteria.
• The diploma holder in any branch of Engineering with at least of 50% marks (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in aggregate are eligible for a direct entry into 2nd year of B. Tech course.
• Candidates should have to appear in one of the National level engineering entrance exams such as JEE, JKLU-EET (JK Lakshmipat University-Engineering Entrance Test), BITSAT or any other equivalent state level engineering entrance examination conducted in the year 2022.
• Foreign Nationals/ Non-Resident Indian (NRI)/ Persons of Indian Origin Applicants will be considered for admission on the basis of their marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination only.

Interested and eligible candidates need to fill in the application form of the Institute of Engineering and Technology of the University as per given format. In order to access the application form and information booklet, candidates must send a demand draft for Rs. 1,000/- (Rs. 3000/- in the case of PIO/ FN/NRI candidates) drawn in favour of “JK Lakshmipat University” payable at Jaipur or photocopy of a deposit slip for Rs. 1,000/-(Rs. 3000/- in the case of FN/PIO/NRI) in the Account No. 0273102000012616 of JK Lakshmipat University in any branch of ‘IDBI Bank’ and addressed to:

Selection Process

First preference will be given to the candidates having their merit on the basis of scores in JEE main organized by CBSE. Rest of the vacant admission will be done through merit in qualifying examination taking into account all subjects as per the eligibility.
