JKCET Eligibility Criteria 2022: Check Your Eligibility Here

If you have planned to apply for JKCET exam 2022 then you must need to meet with following eligibility criteria. If you are failing to fulfill any of the criteria mentioned here, you won’t be allowed to apply for the exam. So, carefully check whether you are meeting the necessary criteria before you proceed further to apply.

JKCET Eligibility Criteria 2022

  • Candidates must have permanent citizenship of J & K state accordingly defined in section 6 of the Constitution of J&K.
  • For admission to Bachelor in Engineering (BE) program candidates should have cleared class 12th or 10+2 or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English.
  • Open merit candidates are required to score at least 50% marks in 10+2 or its equivalent whereas; this mark is 40% for OBC, SC and ST category candidates.
  • Candidates those have appeared in class 12th exam but their result is awaiting can apply for the exam. In this case, candidates are necessary to submit the necessary documents within the prescribed date, failing to do so will cause cancellation of their admission.

Age Criteria

Candidates should be completing the age of 17 years as on or before 31st December 2022.

Once you have verified your eligibility and found yourself eligible, you may proceed for the application procedure. If you are not eligible in any means then you are completely restricted to apply for JKCET.  Without meeting the eligibility criteria, if you apply for Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Test, then your candidature can be cancelled at any point of time.
