JEECUP Counselling 2023: UP Polytechnic Counselling

JEECUP Counselling 2023: JEECUP is conducted by UPBTE (Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education) for admission to polytechnic courses offered by institutions located across the state. All JEECUP qualified candidates need to attend the counselling process for admission. Failing to attend the JEECUP counselling will lead to cancellation of candidature of that particular candidate.

Expected Date of JEECUP Counselling 2023

The Counselling procedure for all JEECUP aspirants is possible to begin from June 2023. Candidates will be intimated regarding counselling through the official website of UPBTE (Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education). The exam conducting authority will publish counselling schedule at its official portal and in the leading newspaper of Uttar Pradesh.

Steps of Counselling

Following steps are involved in JEECUP counselling:

Step 1: Registration Process

It’d be essential for candidates to register themselves for counselling from the official website of the admission authority. During registration, candidates would be asked to provide their personal and contact information. After registration, candidates will get a unique registration number which will be used further.

Step 2: Payment of Counselling Fee

Candidates will be required to make payment of counselling fee in online mode. Candidates may deposit the amount by using credit card/debit card/net banking or else they may deposit the same with using demand draft at any SBI branch.

Step 3: Certificate Verification

Post submission of the fee, candidates should be ready to appear for the certificate verification procedure. In this step, candidates’ documents will be verified for confirming their eligibility. Post-completion of certificate verification procedure, candidates will receive an OTP through SMS for choice filling. If you haven’t received the OTP then click the Resend OTP option.

Filling Your Choice

Candidates are required to choose the “Choice Submission Login” link and fill up information such as roll number and OTP as you had received to your registered mobile number. Now, candidates are required to fill up their choice of colleges and courses as per their preference. After filling the choice, it’d be also essential to lock the same.

Reporting

If a candidate got a seat in Government college then they will be required to submit the security fee amounting to Rs.300/-. Once they get a seat then they need to go to the allotted college and confirm their seat by submitting the required documents.

Important Note

The offer of admission shall be subject to verification of original certificates/ documents at the time of counseling/admission. If any candidate is found ineligible at a later date even after admission to an Institute, his/her admission will be cancelled.

SEAT ALLOCATION PROCESS AND ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

Candidates shall be offered admission based on their choices, reservation and State Open Rank of UPJEE through a Seat Allocation Process to be announced later. The candidates will be able to make their choices online for branches and institutes at the appropriate time. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the UPJEE website www.jeecup.org and https://jeecup.nic.in for latest information. The verification of documents would be done at the time of Seat Allocation Process/admission. The purpose would be to verify different records regarding identification, age, qualifying examination, state of eligibility, category and Subcategory (if any) of the candidate. On failing to produce any of the authentic documents, the candidate will not be considered for admission. SC, ST, OBC and PwD, MP, FF candidates will be required to produce original certificate issued by the competent authority at the time of Seat Allocation Process as well as at the time of admission, failing which they will not be considered for admission.

Admission Preference: JEECUP

  1. candidates who have passed minimum qualifying examination from institute situated in Uttar Pradesh or parents of candidate are domicile of Uttar Pradesh or Mother/Father of candidate is employee of Central Government and currently posted in Uttar Pradesh.
  2. After admission of above mentioned candidates, if seats are vacant, then admission will be open for rest qualified candidates of ‘Other than Uttar Pradesh’. Foreign candidates should be nominated/recommended by their own Country and nominated/recommended/agreed by Government of India.
