JCECE Eligibility Criteria 2022: Nationality, Age, Qualification

JCECE Eligibility Criteria 2022 determines the minimum conditions that a candidate must satisfy in order to appear for the exam. Nationality

A candidate applying for the JCECE Examination 2022 must be a citizen of India and must follow the domicile requirement.

A candidate must be a local or permanent resident of Jharkhand in order to appear for the entrance exam.

Age Criteria

For B.Tech: No Minimum/Maximum Age is defined for regular Engineering courses. However, for Dairy and Agriculture course the minimum age of a candidate must be 17 years and maximum age should be 22 years as on 31st December 2022.

For B.V.Sc & A.H: A candidate should be at least 17 years old as on 31st December 2022.

For Other courses:  Minimum age must be 17 years and Maximum age must be 22 years as on 31st December 2022.

Educational qualification

For Engineering (B.Tech)

Qualifying examination: A candidate must have passed I.Sc/ class 12th or its equivalent from a recognized board.

Subjects: A candidate must have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry (PCM).

Minimum Marks: Candidate must have scored minimum 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved category candidates) in the above subjects.

For B.Tech (Dairy, Agriculture)

Qualifying examination: A candidate must have passed I.Sc/ class 12th from a recognized board.

Subjects: A candidate must have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry (PCM).

Qualifying examination: A candidate must have passed I.Sc/ class 12th from a recognized board.

Subjects: A candidate must have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Biology, and Chemistry (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology (PCMB) or Physics, Chemistry, Forestry/Inter (Agriculture).

For B.F.Sc

Qualifying examination: A candidate must have passed I.Sc/ class 12th from a recognized board/University.

Subjects: A candidate must have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and Biology (PCMB) or Physics, Biology, and Chemistry (PCB) or Inter (Agriculture).

Physical Criteria

A separate medical examination will be done to check the fitness of candidates. Only medically fit candidates will be considered for admission.
