Jaypee B.Tech Lateral Entry Admission 2021-2022

Jaypee B.Tech Lateral entry admission 2021: Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology will invite applications from eligible candidates to direct admission to second year (III Semester), regular B.Tech Programme through Lateral Entry for the academic year 2021-2022. Interested candidates can submit their application for admission as per scheduled date.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational qualification

• Candidates who have done first year of B.E./B.Tech course from a recognized Institution/University with a minimum of 60% marks are eligible to apply.
• Candidates who have qualified three years diploma course after 10th or 10+2 in related engineering branch with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks from a recognized State Technical Board or Technical University are also eligible to apply.
• Candidates holding three years B.Sc degree with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Computer Science or Electronics for relevant stream with minimum of 60% marks can appear for the exam.
• Applicants expected to pass the above said qualifying examinations in the year 2018 can also apply. Provided, they have to submit the pass certificates before admission time for regularizing admissions.
• Admission through Lateral Entry process will be provided in streams in which the applicants have passed B.E./B.Tech./Diploma/B.Sc.

Age Limit

Candidates born on or after October 1st, 1997 are eligible to apply for admission.

Jaypee B.Tech Lateral Entry Application Form 2021 will be obtainable from the Registrar, Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology, A.B. Road, Raghogarh, Distt.- Guna (MP) in person by giving in cash of Rs. 1200/- or can also be available by post through a Demand Draft of Rs. 1200/- drawn in favour of Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology, Guna payable at Guna. Candidate can also download the form online through official website i.e. www.juet.ac.in and submit the same along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 1200/- drawn in favour of Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology payable at Guna. Candidates have to fill in the application form carefully and accurately and submit the same along with important documents at following address:

Exam Pattern

• The duration of entrance test will be one and half hours i.e. 90 minutes.
• The paper will consists of a total of 100 marks
• All the questions will be asked in objective type format with four options each.
• The paper will consist of a total of 50 questions of two marks each
• No mark will be given to non-attempted question
• Every branch/ specialization has a different question paper. So, student must carefully go through the syllabus of that branch or program.

Selection Process

The admission will purely made on merit bases which is determined by total marks scored in relevant examination such as B.Sc, Diploma, first-year B.E/B.Tech programme.

Syllabus

For Bio-Tech/Dual BioTech

The syllabus of Bio-Technology and dual Tech course for lateral entry examination will covers topics from subjects like Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Bio-Chemistry, Foundation course in Biology and genetics.

For ECE, CSE and IT

The syllabus of ECE/ CSE/IT course for lateral entry examination will cover topics from subjects like Computer, Programming and Basic Data Structures, Basic Electric and Electronic Circuits, Physics, Mathematics etc.
