Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants must satisfy the necessary eligibility conditions before applying for PG admission. The eligibility criteria of IIT Madras M.Tech admission 2023 are as follows:

• Applicants must possess B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch degree;
• Aspirants holding Master’s degree in Chemistry/ Life Sciences/ Physics/ Mathematics from a recognized institution may also consider eligible to apply.
• Associate membership holders of professional bodies such as AMIE/AMAeSI/AMIIM/AMIETE can also apply.
• Candidates who have obtained 8.0 CGPA (7.5 in case of SC/ST category) in B.Tech degree from any IIT will be exempted from appearing in GATE exam.

• Recent scanned Photograph with size in between 10 KB to 80 KB;
