Eligibility criteria

• Candidate should have done B.Tech/ B.E/M.Sc or its equivalent examination with at least of 75% marks or 8.5 CGPA.
• Applicant should clear GATE with a valid score.
• Aspirants who have qualified AMIE or Grad may also eligible to apply.
• IETE qualified candidates, will also be considered for admission based on their performance in AMIE/Grad IETE.
• Applicants, who possess B.Tech degree from any of the IIT with a minimum CGPA of 8.0, will be exempted from appearing in GATE exam.

IIT Delhi M.Tech 2023 Application Form: How to apply?

At first, candidates have to do the registration process. For each interdisciplinary M.Tech course, candidates need to submit a separate application form. They can get 4 options within the said department.

• To log in and access the application form, candidates need to enter their Email-ID as username and provide password of minimum 6 characters.
• Fill all the mandatory fields such as name, father’s name and mother’s name etc without any mistake.
• After the successful submission of application form, a unique application number will be generated.
• The same application number will be used during the fee payment.
• The payment of fee can be done through online mode by using “State Bank Collect” service of State Bank of India.
• Take the printout of the application form and keep it safe with you for further use.

Application Fee

• Candidates from General/OBC category should pay Rs 200/- as necessary application fee
• Rs 50 for candidates from SC/ST/Pwd category

Selection Process

The selection of applicants for admission to M.Tech programme at IIT Delhi is done on the basis of their GATE score. In addition, Gate qualified candidates will also have to appear for a written test and a personal interview.
