The Institute of Communication and Information Technology Nagaland (ICIT, Nagaland) isan institute which has been established by the Nagaland Government in 2003. The institute is located at Mokokchung in the state of Nagaland. This institute has got the approval of the‘All India Council for Technical Education’ (AICTE) and is also affiliated with the Nagaland University.The institute was established with an aim to provide the art of teaching-learning facilities as available elsewhere in the country.The Institute has the accountability to crop employable technicians, Entrepreneurs and also to uplift the community through technology transfer and training.

The campus of the Institute of Communication and Information Technology Nagaland (ICIT, Nagaland) is located on the on the way to Nagaland University Campus. The institute’s main campus is located 12 Kms far from the Mokokchung City.

ICIT, Nagaland Admission Process

• Candidates can take admission in the institute after the HSLC/HSSLC result is declared.
• Candidates need to take part in the entrance test and the Directorate of Technical Education conducts the entrance exam.
• Candidates are notified of the dates of the Entrance Exam, Result, and Admission in Local Papers.
• Candidates need to have passed the HSSC exam at least with 45% marks in Maths & Science and also have passed in both Maths & Science separately.
• Only those Candidates, who have scored a minimum 35% in Diploma Entrance Examination, will be deemed to be eligible for admission in the institute.
