Haryana LEET 2021: Eligibility, Application Form, Exam Date

Haryana LEET 2021: Department of Technical Education, Haryana will invite applications from eligible candidates for admission in B.E/B.Tech lateral entry course for the academic session 2021. Candidates seeking admission to 2nd year or third semester of B.E/B.Tech courses in the technical institutes of Haryana can apply for Haryana LEET before the due date.

Haryana LEET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must satisfy prescribed eligibility criteria before apply for Haryana LEET.

• Candidate having Diploma in Engineering/ Technology of minimum duration of 3 years from Haryana State Board of Technical Education or its equivalent with minimum of 45% marks (42.75% for candidates belonging to SC category) in aggregate can apply for the exam.
• Candidates who have qualified B.Sc Degree from a recognized University as approved by UGC, with minimum of 45% marks (42.75 % for candidates belonging to SC category) and done 12^th with mathematics as a subject are eligible to appear in the exam.
• However, students belonging to B.Sc stream, will pass the subjects of Engineering Drawing/ Engineering Graphics/ and Engineering Mechanics of the first year engineering course along with the second Year subjects. Moreover, students belonging to B.Sc. discipline will be considered only after filling the supernumerary seats in this category with candidates from Diploma discipline.
• For Kashmiri Migrants (KM) there will be a relaxation in cut-off percentage upto 10% matter to minimum eligibility requirement.

Haryana LEET 2021 Application form: How to download?

The registration for Haryana LEET will conduct in Online Mode only. The process of registration will start most probably in the month of April 2021. Entrance fee can be paid in the designated bank through generated e-challan.

The application process will include following steps:

• Candidates have to visit official website link and provide required details for registration. After that login credentials at registered email address will be conquered by the candidates.
• Now using the same credentials, candidates can login to the official site and access the application form.
• Fill all required details carefully in prescribed format.
• Candidates have to upload their recent passport size Photograph and signature in given format on online application form.
• Now deposit requisite amount as application fee through e-challan generated while filling up application form.
• Take the print out of the e-challan and deposit the applicable fee in the selected bank.

Admit card

The admit card for Haryana LEET will be available to download on official website only for those who have done successful application along with required fee on scheduled time. The admit card will be available in online mode only. No other medium such as post or printing copies will be entertained by the authority for admit card.

Candidates can download their admit card by using following steps:

• Open official website and click on the download admit card link available on the page.
• Choose course from the drop-down menu.
• Now enter your application number and date of birth in given fields.
• Click on submit option
• Soon your admit card will be displayed on screen
• Take the print out of admit card and bring the same while appearing in the entrance exam

Exam Pattern

• The paper will consist of questions from 4 sections i.e. Basic Sciences, Mechanical Stream Courses, Electronics Stream Courses, and Other Engineering Streams.
• The paper will comprise 90 objectives multiple choice types questions (MCQs) to be completed in one and half hour i.e. 90 minutes.
• Each correct answer will be rewarded with 1 mark.
• There will be no Negative Marking in this exam.

Syllabus

The Haryana LEET entrance exam will cover topics from some major courses including Basic sciences, electronic stream courses, Mechanical stream courses, and other engineering streams.

Result

The result for Haryana LEET will be available online in the month of June tentatively. Candidates who have successfully appeared in this entrance exam can visit the official website and enter the details like roll no, date of birth etc in order to check and download the result.

Counselling

Selected candidates will be called the authority for counselling. Seat allotment and documents verification will be done in counseling process. First round of counselling will be conducted most probably in the month of July 2021.
