Gujarat PGCET Application Form 2022: Registration Fee, Application Process, How to Apply

Gujarat Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) is conducted annually by ACPC, Gujarat for admission into various fields of M.E/M.Tech programs. The exam will be conducted in the 3^rd week of July 2022. Aspirants seeking admission in respective courses will need to apply through the Gujarat PGCET application form 2022. However, they are recommended to go through the eligibility criteria first to ensure whether they satisfy it or not. Gujarat PGCET Application Form 2022

• Admissions will be based on the marks secured by a candidate as per Merit list.
• Candidates who have qualified GATE/GPAT are also required to fill the form to be eligible for admission.
• Before applying, a candidate will have to buy a PIN cover containing User-ID and 14 digit Pin from any branch of Kotak Mahindra Bank under the stipulated time.
• Gujarat PGCET 2022 will be held in pen and paper based mode.
• Applicants will be able to obtain the application form from 1^st week of July 2022.
• The duration of the exam will be 1 Hour 30 Minutes respectively.
• Candidates are recommended to keep their supporting documents ready in order to submit those along with the application details at the help centres.
• All the particulars asked to be filled in the application form must be carefully entered and as per the official records.
• Candidates will not be allowed to change/modify their details in the application form once they have submitted the form.

Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants can refer the given details to check their eligibility status –

• Educational Qualification:

1. A candidate must have passed class 12^th from a recognized school in Gujarat with minimum 50% marks.
2. A candidate must have cleared B.E/B.Tech in any discipline from a recognized university.

• Percentage required :

1. 50% aggregate marks for students from general category
2. 45% aggregate marks for students belonging to SC/ST/SEBC category

Registration Fee

Candidates can get the PIN Cover for Gujarat PGCET 2022 by paying Rs. 1000/- per discipline from Kotak designated Branch of Kotak Mahindra Bank.

Documents needed at the Help Centre

Given below is the list of documents that a candidate is required to submit along with the Application form –

• Class 12^th /HSC Marksheet
• E/B.Tech Final year Marksheet
• Diploma in Engineering Technology (if applicable)
• E/B.Tech Degree
• GATE Score Card (if applicable)
• School Leaving Certificate
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• Transfer Certificate
• Document stating physical disability (if any)

How to fill the Online Application Form?

• Go to the official Website
• Click on “new users click here” button following which a registration window will pop up.
• Choose the course of your choice from the combination given.
• Enter User ID along with 14 digit PIN cover and click on “submit”
• Fill the particulars asked in the form carefully.
• Accept the declaration at the bottom of the form and click “submit” to submit the registration details.
• Now a registration window will pop up where a registration number will be given (this will be the registration number for the entire duration)
• On selecting the registration number, a page with registration detail will appear on the screen.
• Take a printout of the registration details. You can edit the details in this step too.
• Now candidate needs to reach the help centre to submit the registration details along with the necessary documents
• Collect the acknowledgement slip/Hall ticket form the help centre.

Note: GATE/GPAT qualified candidates need to attest the relevant scorecard with the necessary documents.
