Part 4: Differential Analysis

Concept of fluid rotation, Differential equations of mass & momentum for incompressible flows: inviscid – Euler equation and viscous flows – Navier-Stokes equations, vorticity, exact solutions of Navier-Stokes equation for Couette Flow and Poiseuille flow, stream function

Part 5: Inviscid flows

Potential function, Bernoulli’s equation – assumptions and applications, source, Elementary plane flows – uniform flow, sink and doublet and their superposition for potential flow past simple geometries

Part 6: Dimensional analysis
