Established in the year 1996 by the Charutar Vidhya Mandal, GH Patel College of Engineering and Technology also known as GCET is a private and self-financed institution. For admission in UG and PG engineering courses, the GCET follows guidelines and norms decided by state government. According to the rules, 75% of the total seats are filled by central admission committee, Admission Committee for Professional Courses. Rest of the 25% seats, are filled under Management quota (10%) and NRI/NRI sponsored quota (15%).
