Founded in the year 1998, Christian College of Engineering and Technology, Bhilai (abbreviated as CCET) is a private nonprofit organization. It was started with the motive of elevating the needy, marginalized students of India through top- notch technical education. The institute is working under the aegis of Malankara Orthodox Church Mission. All the engineering courses offered the CCET is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education).

The CCET offers admission to 50% seats of all the disciplines through the Minority (Christian) Quota at College level.
Admission to 50% of the seats will be made through post entrance test counseling conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Chhattisgarh, (for which Chhattisgarh domicile holders are only eligible through CGPET).
