BIT MCA 2021: BIT Mesra conducts MCA entrance test every year for students looking for admission to 3 years full-time Master in Computer Applications (MCA) programme offered at Mesra and its extension centres located at Lalpur, Jaipur, and Noida. Eligibility Criteria

Ensure your eligibility before you begin the application formalities for BIT MCA 2021:

• Candidates should pass in class 12^th or its equivalent examination with Mathematics/Computer Science.
• Candidates should hold Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
• Candidates should have either BCA degree, B.Sc in Information Technology/Computer Science/Electronics or B.Sc with Statistics or Mathematics as one of the subjects at Graduation level.
• Candidates should have completed aforesaid qualification with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for aspirants belonging to PwD/SC/ST category).
• Candidates who are appearing in their final year exam of Graduation degree are also permitted to apply.

Procedure to Apply for BIT MCA 2021

In this section, I’m furnishing here all important information regarding BIT MCA 2021 application procedure:

• In order to apply for the test you need to go to the official portal of BIT Mesra first and then click the dedication link to apply.
• Now you need to fill up all entries as mentioned in the form.
• Payment of application fee i.e. Rs.2,500/- (General / OBC candidates) and Rs.1,500/- (for SC/ST candidates) needs to be paid through State Bank Collect.
• Fee once remitted will not be refunded under any circumstances.
• After filling all entries in the application form you need to send a printout of the form including all necessary enclosures to the office of Dean, Admissions & Academic Coordination, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi – 835215.
• Your application must reach before the specified deadline. In case your application will reach after the final deadline then it is liable to be rejected.

List of Documents Need to Be Sent Along with Application Form

• A printed copy of the appropriately filled application form
• One copy of the colored photograph
• Payment receipt
• Photocopies of documents such as class 10^th and 12^th mark sheet and passing certificate.
• Bachelor’s degree certificate for Graduates.
• Caste certificate, if you are falling in this category.
• Photo identity proof.

Exam Pattern- Important Highlights  

• There will be 120 questions in total and that need to be answered in 2 hours.
• All questions will be objective type only having four alternatives. Candidates are required to pick the most appropriate answer.
• If you’ve marked one right answer then you’ll be given 4 marks.
• If you’ve marked on incorrect answer then 1 mark will be deducted from the total marks.

Admit Card

Admit card would be available to download on the official website of institute in the month of May 2021. Candidates can download their admit card by using their name, Form No. and Date of Birth.
