AP PGECET 2018: Important dates, Eligibility Criteria, Application Form

AP PGECET 2018: The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada will conduct AP PGECET 2018 from 10th to 12th May 2018. Candidates, who want to appear in this state level entrance exam, must fill and submit their AP PGECET 2018 Application form as per the schedule.

Every year, the university organizes this exam on behalf of A.P. State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for offering admission to M.Tech, M.Pharma (regular courses), in the field of Engineering, Technology and Pharmacy. The applications for the same will available online only from 21st March 2018.

Eligibility Criteria

It’s mandatory for all applicants to first satisfy the eligibility criteria of AP PGECET before they start filling the application form. The eligibility criteria of AP PGECET 2018 are as follows:

  • Only Indian Citizen can apply.
  • Applicant must possess the domicile certificate of Andhra Pradesh.
  • Candidates should satisfy the local/non local status requirements.
  • The applicants should possess the B.E./B.Tech degree from the recognized University with minimum of 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates from SC/ST category).
  • For M.Pharm programme, candidate must qualify the B.Pharma from the recognized University with minimum of 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST category candidates).

AP PGECET 2018 Application Form: How to apply

The AP PGECET application form will available online mode only from March 2018 tentatively. Aspirants have to fill and submit the application form online from the official website before the due date. The applicants can also check the online status of their application form whether it is received successfully or not.

On the successful submission of application form, an intimation message will send to the candidate’s phone number or registered E-mail id.

Application Fee

The details of application fee are as follows:

  • For General/OBC category – Rs. 600/- (without late fee)
  • For SC/ST candidates – Rs. 300/-(without late fee)

Payment mode: The applicants can pay the application fee either through debit card/ credit card/ or through AP online centres.

Admit card

The admit card of AP PGECET 2018 will available on the official website of the examination authority probably in the month of May 2018. The admit card will bear the important details such as name of the centre, date and time of exam, Roll Number etc. The candidates need to enter the registration number while downloading the admit card.


The result will declare online through the official website probably in the month of June 2018. The applicants should provide the login credentials in order to check their AP PGECET 2018 result. The result will comprise total marks and rank of the applicant. The score card will be available for downloading after a few days of the announcement of result.

Cut –off marks

The applicants need to score the minimum 25% marks of the total marks in order to qualify the AP PGECET 2018. Candidates, who achieve the marks more than the cut-off marks, can take the admission in M.Tech courses under the colleges of Andhra Pradesh.


The authority will invite the selected candidates for AP PGECET 2018 counselling for seat allotment and document verification process. In order to appear in the counselling, the applicants should pay the counselling fee of Rs 600/- (Rs 300 in case of SC/ST/PH candidates).
