Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree (B.E./ B. Tech.) from a recognised institute/university.
• Moreover, he must have obtained minimum 50% marks at the Bachelor
• Candidates of the reserved category can apply with the 45 % at the bachelor level.
• Candidate must have appeared in the TANCET as well which will ME conducted by the Anna University.
• Candidates, who have taken part in the GATE, will be exempted from taking part in the TANCET 2021.

Admission Process

• Candidates, who have a valid scorecard of the TANCET Score, will ME eligible to take admission in the M.Tech/ME programme in the Anna University.
• Candidates, who are working in government organizations, can also apply for the sponsored MTech/ME programme.
• On the basis of the score obtained by the candidates in the entrance test, candidates need to take part in the admission counselling further.

• Lastly, candidates need to take the printout of the application form and send the application form by post.

Details of the Application fee

• Candidates need to pay the application fee of Rs. 500 along with the submission of the application form.
• Candidates of the SC/SCA/ST category will ME required to pay the application fee of Rs.250/.
• Candidates can pay the application fee through the demand draft which must be in favour of ‘The Secretary, TANCET, Anna University,’ payable at Chennai.
• The bank draft can ME of any nationalized bank.
