• Computer Engineering – 120 seats
• Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering- 60 seats
• Mechanical Engineering- 60 seats
• Information Technology- 60 seats

Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants need to satisfy the prescribed eligibility criteria before applying.

Age Limit

Applicants should satisfy the age criteria as per JEE Main i.e., candidates must be born on or after 01 October 1996 (tentatively).

Nationality

• Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
• A person of Indian origin from any foreign country but came to India with the intention to settle permanently in India and gets Indian citizenship before admission to AIT is also eligible to apply.

Educational qualification

• The candidates should have done (10+2) CBSE examination or the Indian School Certificate (10+2 or 12th) examination or its equivalent Higher Secondary (12^th level) Certificate Examination from a recognized Board/University with Physics, Maths and English as necessary subjects along with one of the Biotechnology / Chemistry/Biology/Technical Vocational Subject.
• They must pass the qualifying examination with no less than 50% marks.

Eligibility for Admission to AIT

Admission to Army Institute of Technology will be opened for the children of eligible serving Army persons, eligible ex- Army persons and war widows of the Army. Candidates belonging to the following categories of Army personnel will be considered eligible for admission and they have to submit the application form along with relevant certificate as provided against the category applicable to them as proof of their eligibility for admission to AWES Professional Colleges.

• Children of serving Army persons with at least 10 years constant service in the Army are eligible for admission.
• Wards of ex-Army persons granted/ awarded regular pension, family pension, liberalized family pension, or disability pension at the time of their superannuation, discharge, demise, release medical board/invalid medical board.
• Wards of ex-Army persons who have taken released or discharge after 10 years of service

Application Form: How to apply?

Candidates who appeared in JEE 2021 exam are eligible to apply for AIT Pune. The application form of AIT, Pune admission 2018 will be available online at the official website of institute i.e. www.aitpune.com. It is expected that the application form will be obtainable in the month of March 2021. Candidates have to send the AIT Application Form accompanied photocopy of JEE Main Admit Card/Hall Ticket by the due date.

For successful submission of form, candidates have to pay Rs 900/- as necessary application fee + Rs 25/ Processing charges.

Mode of payment

• Online mode

For online application, payment of said fee can be made online via using credit cards/debit card or net banking payment gateways.

• Through Demand draft

Candidates can also make the payment through bank demand draft of a nationalized bank drawn in favour of Director, AIT and payable at Pune. It should be noted that no payment through cheque (including at-par cheques) will be considered.

• Through Post

Applicants can also obtain the information booklet along with application form through post from AIT on payment of Rs 980/- through bank demand draft drawn in favour of Director, AIT payable at Pune.

Admission Process

Admission to AIT will be done on the basis of candidate’s All India Rank scored in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main . Therefore, it is must for all candidates to participate in JEE Main conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admission to AIT, Pune. Applicants are required to submit the AIT Application Form along with a photocopy of JEE Main Admit Card/Hall Ticket.
