Aadhaar Card is a Mandatory Document for JEE Main 2017 Aspirants

JEE Main 2017 official website has been launched by the Central Board of Secondary Education on November 18, 2016 and its online application form will be live from December 1, 2016. But, the authority has made certain changes in JEE Main 2017 pattern.

NO Aadhaar card will be required for candidates of J&K, Assam & Meghalaya states.

One of the important changes made by CBSE includes necessity of Aadhaar Card issued by UIDAI for appearing in the exam. While filling the application form, candidates will be asked to enter their respective Aadhaar number and it will be among mandatory sections. Please ensure the date of birth and all other details mentioned in your Aadhaar card, are correct.

Once a candidate enters his/her Aadhaar number, date of birth, name and gender, the same will be validated by UIDAI and in case of any discrepancy; he/she won’t be allowed to proceed with application formalities.
