DU LLB 2019: The Delhi University will be announcing the dates for its law entrance test, in the Bachelor’s degree program. The DU LLB Exam 2019 is a university level exam, managed by the faculty of Law, Delhi University. Eligibility Criteria for DU LLB 2019

  • The candidates must hold a graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university with minimum qualifying marks of 50% for general candidates, 45% for OBC candidates and 40% for the CS/ST/ candidates.
  • A relaxation of 5% marks will be given for widows/wards of ex-servicemen/serving personnel (CW) & Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates.
  • Final year graduation students are also eligible for DU LLB 2019 exam.
  • There are no upper age limit criteria.

DU LLB Application Form 2019: How to apply?

The application form will be provided on the official website of the university. Candidates will have to provide their personal details such as name, email id, contact number and details of their educational qualifications on the online application form. They have to upload the scanned image of their photograph, and signature as per the specifications. After uploading all the required documents on the form, it will be submitted along with the application fee. The application charge for general/OBC candidates is Rs 500/- and is Rs 250/- for the SC/ST/PWD candidates. The payment of the application fee can be done using credit card/debit card/internet banking or via demand draft or NEFT.

Exam Pattern

The exam will be held offline. The paper will consist of 175 questions carrying 4 marks each. 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. All the questions will be objective type and the duration of the paper will be 2 hours. The questions will come from topics such as English Language Comprehension, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Reasoning & Analytical Abilities and Legal Awareness and Aptitude.

Admit Card

Those who have successfully submitted their application form and fulfill the eligibility criteria will be able to download their admit card from the university’s official website. Most likely, the admit card will be released in the month of June 2019. Candidates can download the admit card through login to the official website by providing their registration number and password. It is mandatory for the candidates to carry their admit card at the examination center.

DU LLB Exam Syllabus

The syllabus of DU LLB entrance examination will consist of topics like General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Reasoning & Analytical Abilities, English Language Comprehension, and Legal Awareness and Aptitude. Candidates are advised to go through these topics to achieve a better score in the entrance examination.

Answer Key

After the conduction of examination, answer key will be released by the university to help candidates get a rough idea of their score. Any objections to the answer key can be sent to the authority and after verifying them, they will re-release the answer key.


The final result of the DU LLB 2019 exam will be uploaded by the Delhi University on the website. Candidates can check or download their result online by entering their roll number, registration number and date of birth. On the basis of the marks scored, the candidates will be given their rank and will be called for the counselling.

Counselling process

Most likely, the process of DU LLB counselling 2019 will be commenced in the month of July 2019. The shortlisted candidates have to attend the counselling on the designated date and time. The applicants will be invited for the counselling as per their rank obtained in the exam. Counseling fee will be submitted online but the process of counseling will be offline. The final admission will be provided only after the verification of important documents
