DU LLB Eligibility Criteria 2021 Nationality, Age & Qualification

Candidates seeking admission in three years of regular LLB course from Delhi University must apply for the entrance test by filling the online application form. Nationality: Only Indian Nationals can apply for the exam.

Age Criteria: There is no maximum age defined to appear for the exam.

Educational Qualification

For Unreserved category candidates:  A candidate must have done his/her graduation or post-graduation from DU or any other Indian or Foreign University recognized as equivalent by the DU with at least 50% aggregate marks or its equivalent grade point.

For OBC category candidates: A candidate should have done his/her graduation or post-graduation from DU or any other Indian or Foreign University recognized as equivalent by the DU with at least 45% aggregate marks or its equivalent grade point.

For SC/ST category candidates: A candidate should have done his/her graduation or post-graduation from DU or any other Indian or Foreign University recognized as equivalent by the DU with minimum 40% aggregate marks or its equivalent grade point.

Note:

  • Relaxation of 5 % will be given to the widows/wards of the defence personnel and PWD candidates.
  • Those candidates who are awaiting their result or appearing in the final year can apply for the exam.
  • Rounding of the marks isn’t permitted.
  • Candidates who are enrolled in law courses in the university other than DU can apply for the admission in Delhi University only when they have cancelled the law course opted in other institution.

Age Criteria

There is no age bar defined to apply for DU LLB entrance exam. So, you need to get worried about your age. However, don’t forget to ensure other crteria as mentioned above.
