DU JAT 2022: Application Form, Syllabus, Exam Pattern

To select the candidates for admissions into the BA (Business Economics), BMS and BBA (Financial Investment Analysis) courses offered by Delhi University, DU JAT 2022 will be conducted. The interested candidates can apply for the admission by submitting their application form. DU JAT 2022 Exam Dates

The official dates for DU JAT 2022 are as follows:

Application Form

The application form for DU JAT 2022 will be released by March 2022. The candidates will be able to obtain the application by visiting the official website of the university.

• The candidates will have to fill the application form by providing their basic personal and educational details.
• The candidates can also provide the exam center of their choice in the application.
• The candidates can also provide the course-college combined choice in the order of preference. The order once submitted will not be changed at any further stage.
• After entering all the details in the form, the candidates can submit the application form in online mode along with the required application fee.
• The candidates must take a printout of the duly filled application form and keep it safe in case of future use.

Application fee:

• The candidates will have to submit an application fee of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates).
• The fee submission can be done online via payment gateway.
• The application fee once submitted will neither be refunded nor be transferred.
• For each entrance test for which application is submitted, separate application fee will be charged.

DU JAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for DU JAT 2022 are given below:

• The candidates should have passed their Senior Secondary School Exam (class 12^th) or any other exam considered as equivalent from a recognized board.
• The candidates must score minimum aggregate marks of 60% in the aggregate of English, Mathematics and any 2 subjects from the list given below.

Exam Pattern

• Exam duration: 2 hours
• Number of questions: 100
• Total marks: 400
• Type of questions: Objective type
• Marking scheme: 4 marks will be awarded for each right answer

How to Prepare?

Admit Card

• The DU JAT admit card will be released around one week before the day of commencement of the exam.
• The candidates must carry a valid admit card to the exam center in order to appear for the exam.
• The details of the exam, its venue and schedule will be communicated to the candidates through the admit card.
• The admit card must be preserved until the whole process of admission is over and are therefore advised to take more than a single printout.

DU JAT 2022 Result

• The result of the entrance test will be announced on the official university’s website.
• The candidates who clear their entrance exam will be considered for admissions.
• For shortlisting the candidates, the marks scored in the admission test plus the marks obtained in the qualifying exam will be considered.
• Based on the overall performance, a merit list of the qualified candidates will be prepared.

Counseling

• On the basis of the merit list drawn, the applicants will be invited to attend the counseling session.
• At the time of counseling, the documents and eligibility of the candidates will be verified.
• The eligible candidates will then be allotted a seat according to the choice made by them in the application form.
• The selected candidates will then have to report to the allotted institute to complete the admission formalities.
