Eligibility Criteria

Applicant’s age should be 40 years as on 1st July of the year of admission.  Age relaxations will be provided according to the Government norms.

Required Application Fee:

Candidates belonging to general category have to pay Rs.500/- for M.Sc (Horticulture) and Rs.1000/- for Ph.D (Horticulture).

Candidates from SC/ ST/PHC category have to pay Rs.250/- for M.Sc (Horticulture) and Rs.500/- for Ph.D (Horticulture).

Selection Process:

For M.Sc (Horticulture) – Selection of applicants will be made on the basis of their educational record (Intermediate – 10%, B.Sc.-30% and S.S.C – 10%) and in Entrance exam (50%).

Applicants should have qualified with minimum 50% marks in the qualifying exam.

For Ph.D (Horticulture) –The applicants will be selected on the basis of their academic record i.e. (B.Sc (Horticulture) – 10%, M.Sc (Horticulture) – 30%, and performance in entrance exam (50%) and 10% for personal interview.
