Dr DY Patil University D.M. and M.Ch Admission 2018-19: Applications will be invited by Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth from eligible candidates for admission to various Super specialty Courses such as M.Ch. (Neurosurgery), D. M. (Nephrology) and M.Ch. (Urology) for academic session 2018-19.

Candidates seeking admission in Super specialty Courses offered at DPU are needed to appear in an all India entrance test organized by the Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth.

Eligibility Criteria

For M.Ch. (Neuro-Surgery)

The applicants should have completed M.S. (General Surgery) or equivalent examination with minimum qualifying marks from a recognized medical college.

Dr DY Patil University D.M. and M.Ch Application Form: How to apply?

Candidate can download the application form from the official website of website. After downloading the application form, fill up the details in your own handwriting. Candidates have to paste their recent photographs.

Candidate should send the Application Form along with a Demand Draft of Rs.3100/- drawn on any nationalized Bank, in favor of “The Registrar, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth” payable at Pune.

Submit the duly filled application form writing over the envelop “Application Form for Super-Specialty Programmes” addressed to “The Registrar, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune, Sant Tukaram Nagar,  Pimpri, Pune – 411018 (Maharashtra)” on or before the due date.

Application fee:

Candidates have to pay Rs.2000/as necessary application fee. In case the applications send after the due date, the application fee is Rs.2250/-.

Examination Pattern

The duration of entrance test is 3 hours. The exam will comprise of multiple choice types (MCQ), long answer type questions (LAQ) and short answer type (SAQs). The distribution of questions and marks are given below:

There will also be a round of viva voce for 50 marks.

Admission process

The provisional selection of candidate for the admission to particular course will be based on inter-se merit in the entrance examination and viva-voce taken together.  Applicants have to achieve minimum of 50% or more marks at the entrance test to qualify for admission.
