Overview

Doon University was brought in to establishment by Government of Uttarakhand through Uttarakhand legislative Assembly Act in October 2005.  The University was formed with an endeavor to affirm effective and systematic process of teaching, training and research and development to students in different courses and academic disciplines.

The University has its affiliations to Ministry of Human Resource and Development and University Grants Commission.
