Introduction

Desh Bhagat University is a private University that was established in the year 1996 in the Almoh, Fatehgarh, Sahib District of Punjab. The University was established under Punjab Government’s Desh Bhagat Act. The University has its 4 campuses that are located Moga, Shri Muktsar Sahib, Almoh and Chandigarh. The university has its International campus located at Kenya.

The University came in to existence under the guidance of Shri Lal Singh Ji, a freedom fighter. The University has its accreditations and affiliations with different recognized authorities as in University Grant Commission, AIU, NCTE, PCI, BCI and COA.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to enroll into University for any of the given courses mentioned above, students have to appear for the entrance exam for that respective course at the University. Besides, for bachelor’s course candidate must have completed 10+2 in respective stream wants to take up further as in Science, Art or Commerce.

For master’s course candidate must have completed graduation from recognized university with 45% marks.

For doctorate course candidate must have completed post-graduate in the discipline candidate wants to specialize in.

Fees Structure

Fee for different courses at various levels tend to vary largely.

• For bachelor course is 2.1 lakh except Bachelor in Technology (Civil Engineering) which is 3.1 lakh.
• For master’s course- 1.3 lakhs
• For doctorate course- 8 lakhs
