1. Candidates will only be able to check the Delhi University entrance result through the online mode i.e. by visiting the official website of the University.
2. The University won’t send the result to the candidates by post or any other medium under any circumstances. It is the responsibility of the applicants to check their result online.

• A merit list will be prepared by the authority to shortlist the candidates for admission.
• The list will indicate the following details about a candidate- name, roll number, rank, allotted college, preference of college, category etc.
• Display of name in the merit list does not indicate final selection for admission.
• Candidates will be allocated to an institution depending on the rank in the merit list of their respective category of the candidate, subject category, availability of seats and preference made for the institutions.
• In the case of multiple ties between the marks secured by the candidates competing for admission in the same course, tie-breaker will be applied as per the rules of the University.
• Candidates whose name appears in the list will undergo the counselling/document verification phase in order to get admission in the concerned programme.

As soon as the authority will publish the result on its official web portal, the admission process will begin and the candidates can start registering for admission by filling the admission form. They also need to satisfy the cutoff laid down by the authority to get selected for the course they wish to enroll into.
