The result of Delhi Polytechnic exam (CET) is probable to be announced in the month of June 2021. The candidates who are shortlisted after the declaration of the result will be further required to attend the counselling procedure on the scheduled date and time. The Controller of Examination, CET will declare the rank of only the qualified candidates. All the candidates who appeared for the Common Entrance Test will be able to check their results from the official website of Delhi CET 2021. The candidates will be required to enter their CET Roll Number, Application Number, and Security Pin in order to view the result.
The Delhi CET 2021 will not send an individual intimation to the candidates regarding the result. Also, the decision made by the result committee regarding question papers and result preparation will be considered final.
The candidates will be able to check their result in online mode by following these simple steps:
- Go to the official website of the Delhi CET cetdelhi.nic.in to get the result link or directly click on the link given below on this page.
- After clicking on the link, a new window will appear on the screen.
- Enter your CET roll number, application form number, and security pin and click on ‘proceed’ button.
- As you click on the proceed button, the Delhi Polytechnic Result 2021 will be displayed on the screen.
The roll number, as well as the application number of the candidate, will be present on their admit card and the security pin to be entered will be displayed on the screen only. The candidates are suggested to be ready with their copy of admit card in order to check their result.
Delhi CET 2021 Merit List
Based on the marks secured by the candidates in the entrance test, a merit list will be drawn by the authorities. The list of candidates in order of merit in each category for each test will be prepared. The category-wise cut-off for the CET is given as:

*The reserved category candidates who qualify on the basis of the relaxed cut-off marks (5%) will not be eligible for admission against general category seats.
Breaking of Tie in Result
For the candidates securing equal aggregate marks in the entrance test, the inter-se merit will be determined as per the following criteria:
| Test Number | Order of Priority in case of a Tie |
| Test 1 | Candidates having more marks in Mathematics in CET will rank higher. The further tie will be resolved on the basis of marks obtained in Physics, followed by marks obtained in Chemistry, followed by marks obtained in English, then marks obtained in Biology and then by the date of birth. |
| Test 2 | Candidates securing more marks in English in CET will be ranked higher. If this does not break the tie, date of birth shall be considered. |
| Test 3 | Candidates securing more marks in Hindi in CET will get higher ranking. If there is still a tie, date of birth shall be considered. |
| Test 4 | Candidates securing more marks in Biology/ Mathematics in CET shall rank higher, followed by date of birth. |
| Test 5 | Candidates having more marks in Mathematics in CET shall rank higher. In case of a further tie, the order of rank will be decided by the marks obtained in Physics, followed by marks obtained in Chemistry, followed by marks obtained in Biology, followed by marks obtained in English and General Aptitude and then by the date of birth. |
Note: The candidates older in age will be preferred in the ranking, i.e., will get a higher ranking.
CET Counseling Process
On the basis of the merit ranking in the CET, the candidates will be invited for counseling process. The counseling will be carried out in 4 rounds. The first round of CET counseling will begin from September 2021. The candidates will have to first pay a processing fee and after that, they can take part in the online registration and choice submission. After the result of counseling is declared, the candidates will get a provisional allotment letter.
