Delhi Polytechnic Counselling

Post declaration of Delhi CET result, the concerned authority will conduct counselling procedure for the same. The authority has released the official notification for Delhi Polytechnic Exam 2023 and according to that, I’m furnishing here the best possible details regarding Delhi Polytechnic counselling process and its schedule. There will be four rounds of counselling conducted.

Delhi Polytechnic 2023 Procedure of Counselling

Step 1: Submit the Processing Fee

List of qualified candidates will be required to pay the one-time processing fee amounting Rs. 900/- (Non-refundable) [(plus Rs 20/-bank charges & Rs 3/- (service tax)] by using challan/debit card/net banking.

Step 2: Online Registration

Online registration will be done only after 24 to 48 hours of remitting the application fee. One needs to go to the official website i.e. http://www.cetdelhi.nic.in for registration. In order to register, you should have Test No., CET Application No., CET Roll No, and Date of Birth. The following information would be required during the registration procedure:

  • Gender;
  • Father’s name;
  • Category (GN/OBC/SC/ST/ TFW);
  • Sub-Category (DP/ NCC/SM/PWD/JK);
  • Mobile number and Email address;
  • Educational Qualification details;
  • Contact Address;

Step 3: Submission of Choice Online

Applicants who have successfully paid the aforesaid processing fee and completed the online registration procedure are only permitted for online choice filling. In order to fill your choice, you need to log in to the official website i.e. http://www.cetdelhi.nic.in by using your login credentials (CET Roll Number and Password).

Applicants will be able to fill the preferences of colleges and disciplines by clicking the “Fill Choices” button. If you’d like to fill multiple choices at one time then click the on “Add Multiple”. After putting all your preferences, lock the same and take a printout for future references.

Step 4: Seat Allotment Result

Candidates would be capable to view the result of counselling by using their login credentials. All successful candidates can download Provisional Allotment letter by clicking the similar link. Provisional Allotment letter will contain information such as allotted institute, fee details, date & time of reporting to the allotted institute and list of documents required etc. Unsuccessful candidates may attend the further round of counselling. Aspirants must take a printout of their Provisional Allotment Letter for future references.

Step 5: Complete the Enrolment Formalities

Complete the enrolment formalities by reporting to the allotted institute along with necessary documents. List of documents are as follows:

  • Institute fee in the form of demand draft (in favour of “DKDF” payable at Delhi).
  • Receipt for payment of one-time processing fee.
  • Copy of online registration slip and Provisional Allotment Letter.
  • Copy of filled choices.
  • Two numbers of the recently taken passport size photograph as posted on admit card.
  • CET original admit card.
  • Date of Birth Proof.
  • Mark sheets of qualifying exams;
  • Category certificate (if applicable);
  • Conduct and Character certificate.
  • Medical fitness certificate;
  • SLC/TS/migration certificate.
  • Undertaking related to prohibition of ragging.
