Delhi College of Arts Admission 2021: The application process for admission to Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and Master of Fine Arts (MFA) programmes offered at Delhi College of Arts will start from June 2021 (expected). Eligibility Criteria

For Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Programme

Candidates should have one of the following qualifications with 50% or above marks in aggregate of 5 subjects for admission to BFA programme:

• Senior Secondary Certificate exam from CBSE.
• Indian School Certificate exam from the Council for Indian School Certificates examination, New Delhi.
• Pre-University exam from any board or university recognized by the University of Delhi.
• Any other equivalent exam.

Relaxation of 5% in marks will be given to candidates falling under below-mentioned category:

• OBC/SC/ST/PH/wards of Kashmiri migrants/widow and/or children of Para-Military Forces/Armed Personnel.
• Aspirants who have studied Painting, Drawing, Applied Art or Sculpture as one of the subjects in the qualifying exam.

For Master of Fine Arts (MFA) Programme

Candidates having Bachelor of Fine Art degree with 50% or above marks in aggregate are eligible to apply. 5% relaxation in marks will be provided to candidates falling under below specified category:

• OBC/SC/ST/PH/widow and/or children of Armed Personnel.

How to Apply?

• The application form will be downloaded from the official admission portal.
• Finally, submit your application form along with DD or a crossed Indian postal order to the authority.
• Demand draft or Indian postal order should be payable to the DDO, College of Art, New Delhi at New Delhi.

Selection Procedure

For BFA Programme

Weightage will be given in following ways:

• 60% to the Aptitude Test.
• Rest 40% to the marks obtained by candidates in 10+2 or its equivalent exam.

Scoring 50% marks in the aptitude test are must to become qualified for admission to BFA programme.

For MFA Programme

Candidates need to appear before an Assessment Committee along with necessary documents. Selection procedure will be based on following factors:

• 60% weightage will be given to the evaluation of previously done works and viva of programme of study.
• 40% weightage will be given to candidates’ performance in last qualifying exam.
