Delhi CET Exam Pattern and syllabus will familiarize the candidate with the nature of the exam. It will explain the candidates about the medium and duration of exam, total marks and number of questions and many other questions that might be arising in their minds before the exam. The test will be held in offline mode and only objective type questions will be asked. The exam will be conducted in the form of 5 test papers for different disciplines.
Delhi CET Exam Pattern 2021
The details of the Delhi CET 2021 Exam Pattern is provided here to help the candidates in gaining comprehension of the exam even before appearing and get prepared mentally.
- Mode of exam: The exam will be conducted in offline mode, i.e. on the OMR sheet.
- Medium of test: The question paper for Test 1, 4 & 5 will be in both English & Hindi, for Test 2 only in English language and for Test 3 only in Hindi language.
- Number of questions: A total of 150 questions will be asked in the entrance exam.
- Total marks: The paper will carry a total of 600 marks.
- Duration of test: The exam will be conducted for a total duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
- Type of questions: Objective type or multiple-choice questions will be asked in the exam.
- Marking scheme: 4 marks will be awarded for each right answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

How to write on the OMR answer sheet?
The candidate will be provided an answer sheet (OMR sheet) to mark their answers by bubbling them. The candidates will have to enter the important details into the answer sheet which includes roll number, test number, application number, centre number, candidate’s name, father’s name, name of the examination centre, signature of the candidate, test booklet number, test booklet code and sex.
There will be four bubbles which will represent four alternative responses and the candidates will have to fill or darken the bubble corresponding to the answer they think is correct. The candidate must darken only a single bubble and that too must be darkened completely. It is possibility that the optical scanner may reject a faintly darkened circle or multiple bubbles darkened for a single question.
Admit Card
The Delhi Polytechnic admit card will be released in online mode and the candidates will be able download their admit card by visiting the official website www.cetdelhiexam.nic.in. The admit card will contain the important details of the candidates and that of the exam center. The candidates must carry this admit card to the exam center or else, they will not be allowed to appear for the test.
