DAV University Entrance Test (DAVUET) 2021: The applications will be invited by DAV University, Jalandhar for the University entrance cum scholarship test i.e. DAVUET. The exam will be organized most probably in the month of April 2021.
The DAV University conducts DAVUET entrance test for offering admission to candidates into the B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) honors in Agriculture, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Botany, Microbiology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Zoology courses.

Eligibility Criteria for DAV University Entrance Test (DAVUET) 2021
- Interested candidates should have done 12th with minimum of 55% aggregate of marks in respective subject combinations given under section or equivalent from a recognized board. There will be a relaxation of 5% aggregate marks for SC Category.
- Candidates, who are appearing or pursuing in the qualifying examination i.e. 12th are also eligible to apply. However, they will be admitted to the course only, if they provide the proof of passing the qualifying examination with the mandatory pass percentage of marks at the time of admission.
- The applicants having a compartment in the qualifying examination at the time of admission will not be considered for admission to any course.
Application Form: How to apply
The interested and eligible candidates are required to fill online form by visiting the official website of university i.e. www.davuniversity.org. Take the printout of the filled online application form, the admit cards, and the attendance receipt. Attach the latest passport-size photographs and sign in the given fields. The hall ticket/ admit card must be attested from the principal of school/respective authority. The application form must be completed in all respects along with applicable application fee will have to be submitted through in person or by speed post/ registered post/courier to the examination, centre choose by the applicant in his/her registration form. Application form can also be obtainable from the Principal of the selected examination centre by depositing Rs.200/- and follow the above procedure.
Admit card
Admit card will be issued by the university only for those candidates who have done successful registration. Admit Card once produced must be carefully examined by the applicant. If any contradiction will be found in admit card, it should directly be brought to the notice of the Admission coordinator in the particular test centre. No candidate will be allowed to write in the entrance test without a valid Admit Card.
Examination Pattern
DAVUET 2021 Question paper will be based on CBSE syllabus of 10+1 and 10+2. The question paper will be set in English language only. The entrance test will comprise multiple choices (MCQ) type with having four choices in which candidates have to pick only one correct answer. Each right answer will carry one mark. There will also negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong response given by candidates. The question paper will contain four sections as listed below:

Candidates choosing for PCM discipline should attempt the sections A, B and C

Result
After the successful completion of entrance exam, the university will announce the result of qualified candidates most probably in the first week of May 2021 and the same will be downloaded on the DAV University website i.e. www.davuniversity.org
