CSSET 2022 will be conducted for admission in B.Ed program offered by Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth (RSV, Tirupathi), Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan (RSS, New Delhi) and Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth (LBSSV, New Delhi). Admission in these Sanskrit Universities will be based on the performance of the candidate in the entrance exam. The online application form will be released in the 3rd week of January 2022. Candidates should submit the application form on or before the due date to avoid disappointment.

CSSET Syllabus
Application Form for CSSET 2022
Candidates can apply for CSSET exam by visiting the official website of the concerned universities. Before filling the form, candidates should make sure that they have all the documents related to personal and academic details handy including the scanned copy of photograph and signature. The details in the form will include – date of birth, qualification details, mobile number, email id, the address of the candidate, educational record etc.
The details must be filled properly as once the form is submitted, no request for the change in the application form will be entertained by the authority. After verifying the details one last time, candidates should proceed towards the payment section where they need to pay the required amount of application fee for the entrance test. The applications received without the application fee will be considered invalid and end up being rejected by the authority. Candidates need not send the hardcopy of the application form to the concerned authorities.
Application Fee
Candidates must pay an application fee of Rs. 1200/- via online mode only i.e. through credit card/debit card/net banking. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
CSSET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for combined Shiksha Shastri B.Ed entrance exam (CSSET) are provided below-
Age Criteria: The age of the candidates should not be less than 20 years old as on 1st October 2022. No age relaxation will be permissible.
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should possess a degree in Shastri or have done B.A /M.A in Sanskrit /Acharya or its equivalent traditional degree from a recognized University with minimum 50% aggregate marks or its equivalent grade.
- Candidates who have passed Shastri/B.A. (With Sanskrit) two year course from any recognized University should have obtained at least 50% marks in the aggregate and or have passed Acharya Ist year /M.A. (Sanskrit) Ist year/Setu (Bridge course)/Vidwanmadhyama/Vidwaduttama examination.
- Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories need at least 45% aggregate marks in the above-mentioned exams to be eligible for CSSET exam.
CSSET admit card
- The hall ticket for the CSSET examination will be available on the official website of the universities.
- Candidates need to login into the website using their application number and DOB.
- The admit card must be brought to the exam venue as on failing to bring the same, the authority won’t permit such candidates to take the exam.
- Candidates should keep the printout of the admit card and keep it safe till the admission process is finished.
- The admit card will contain the details such as name of the candidate, roll number, reporting time, exam center address, date of the exam etc.
Result and Selection
- The result of the CSSET exam will be declared online on the website of the concerned universities.
- Candidate can check the result with the help of their roll number.
- The authorities will prepare a merit list to select the candidates for admission in B.Ed program offered by the concerned universities.
- Separate merit list will be prepared at all India level and University level for admission in the concerned Sanskrit Universities.
- Shortlisted candidates will undergo the document verification phase where all their documents in original form will be verified.
- Then the authority will allot a seat to the candidates based on their rank, choices made during form filling and the availability of seats in the University.
- Candidates need to report to the allotted institute to complete the admission related formality.
