CSAET 2021: Eligibility Criteria, Application Form, Important Dates

CSAET 2021: Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati will invite applications from eligible candidates for admission to M.Ed courses through Combined Shiksha Acharya Entrance Test (CSAET) for academic session 2021-2022. CSAET is an entrance exam organized every year to enroll candidates into M.Ed courses under three deemed Sanskrit universities, i.e. SLBS Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (New Delhi), Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan (New Delhi), Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (Tirupati).

CSAET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet required eligibility criteria before applying the entrance exam. The eligibility conditions for CSAET 2021 are as follows:

  • Candidates who have done Shiksha Shastri / Acharya / B.Ed (With Sanskrit Teaching) and/or M.A (Skt.) or equivalent qualification from any recognized University may apply for this exam.
  • Candidates must have score minimum 50% marks in both theory and practical papers individually and at least 50% marks in the aggregate in Shiksha Shastri /B.Ed (Skt.) Methodology
  • There will be a relaxation of 5% in minimum passing percentage required for admission for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ otherwise able categories.
  • Admission to M.Ed programme will be given on the basis of prescribed reservation policy made by the Govt. of India and in order of merit list of the combined M.Ed. Entrance Test 2021.
  • Candidate must have attained minimum 23 years in order to appear in this entrance test.

CSAET 2021 Application Form: How to apply

  • Candidates can download the application form from the official website (after the release of official notification). CSAET application form 2021 will also be available in person from the designated centers.
  • Candidates can get the form by submitting Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1000/-in person in selected centers or Rs. 1050/- via post by sending a request to the Co-ordinator, CSAET S.L.B.S. Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, New Delhi.
  • Candidate must note that DD should be drawn in favour of the authorized persons as decided by the exam conducting body.
  • The duly filled in application along with necessary documents should be sent at the above listed address only by Speed post/regd post/in person within due date.

Admit Card

Applicants who have done successful registration along with fee before due time can download the admit card a week before the entrance exam date from the official website. Candidates need to download the admit card and bring the same while coming for the entrance exam.

CSAET 2021 Exam Pattern

The question paper will consists of two parts i.e. Part A and Part B

Part A will contain four sections as listed below:

  1. Sanskrit Language Competency – 25 marks
  2. Educational Psychology – 25 marks
  3. General Knowledge related to Education Teaching – 25 marks
  4. Teaching of Sanskrit – 25 marks

Part B will also contain four sections as follows

  1. Linguistic components of Sanskrit – 10 marks
  2. Outline of prose/poetry lesson plans – 10 marks
  3. Action research Project on a given topic – 20 marks
  4. Preparing a balanced question paper on a given subject- 10 marks

The questions will be asked in the Sanskrit language.

Paper will consist of questions in multiple choice types with having 4 alternate options. Candidates have to pick one right response.

The total duration of exam is 2.30 hours in which 1.30 hours are allotted to part A and remaining 1 hour is for part B.

Result

The result of CSAET 2021 will be declared online after the written exam over. Candidates who successfully appeared in the entrance exam can check their result by visiting the official link. They need to enter their registration no/roll no in order to check or access the results.
