COMEDK UGET Counselling 2022: Check Procedure and Schedule Here

COMEDK UGET counselling 2022 will start after publication of its result which will be most probably available in the month of May 2022. Counselling and admission process will be conducted based on candidates’ scored marks in COMEDK UGET.

Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET) is conducted for aspirants seeking admission to engineering, medical and dental programmes offered by its member institutions.

Venue of Counselling

COMEDK UGET counselling process will be organized at “Mangala Mantapa, NMKRV College for Women premises, 3rd Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore – 560 011”. Candidates are instructed to attend the counselling process on the notified date and time as prescribed according to their score.

Candidates will have to undergo through biometric verification, document verification, photo verification, and signature verification. They are allowed to accompany either parent or guardian for the counseling process.

Candidates need to be present with one of the following photo identity proofs:

  • Driving License
  • Passport
  • Voter ID
  • Aadhar Card
  • PAN Card
  • Bank Passbook with photograph attested by Bank Manager

Steps of COMEDK UGET Counselling Process 2022

Follow steps are involved under COMEDK UGET counselling procedure:

Step 1: Verification of Documents

Before registering for counselling process, candidates need to verify following documents at the counter. They need to be present with original certificates along with one set of photocopies for verification purpose:

  • Voter ID, Passport, Driving License;
  • Bank passbook with photograph attested by the bank manager;
  • Hall ticket of Class XII / 2nd PUC Board exam;
  • College/school photo identity card;
  • Aadhar Card;
  • COMEDK UGET Admit Card (Test Admission Ticket);
  • Rank card;
  • Class X or its equivalent exam certificate or School leaving certificate as date of birth proof;
  •  Class XII or 2nd PUC or its equivalent exam mark sheet;
  • Demand draft of Rs. 55,000/- that should be drawn on any of the nationalized banks and in favour of “COMEDK‟ payable at Bangalore;
  • Category certificates as prescribed;

Step 2: Registration Process

During registration, candidates will have to undergone through following:

  • Signature Verification
  • Biometric Verification
  • Online Photo Capturing process and Verification
  • Thereafter, candidates will get a registration slip;
  • Candidates will be asked to fill up demand draft details and three preferences of colleges/courses from the available vacancies;

Step 3:  Exercising Options

The merit list gets prepared for every session based on number of vacancies available. Candidates can view the dynamic screen for checking college-wise and course-wise seats availability.

Step 4: Allotment of Seats

Seat allotment process will be done after the seat selection made by the candidates according to the availability of seats. Upon completion of seat selection process, candidates will get a seat allotment letter. Further, candidates will have to confirm the seat by paying Rs. 55000/- through demand draft at the bank counter. After making a requisite payment, candidates will get a seat allotment letter.

Step 4: Reporting at allotted institute and admission

As per the notified schedule and for completing all admission related formalities, candidates should report at the allotted institute with COMEDK UGET seat allotment letter.
