COMEDK PGET is one of the renowned national level postgraduate medical entrance tests organized for admission to MD, MS and MDS programmes in participating institutes of KPCF (Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation Trust). Eligibility Criteria
Candidates interested to apply for COMEDK PGET they first need to check COMEDK PGET eligibility criteria mentioned below. If you are fulfilling the criteria mentioned below then you can apply for this exam otherwise you’re not allowed to apply for the same.
- Candidates belong to all across the country are eligible to appear for COMEDK PGET exam.
- In order to become shortlisted in General category merit list candidates are required to attain at least 50% of marks whereas 40% for SC/ST category (All India) and backward class of the Karnataka state.
- Candidates should have completed their internship latest by April 30, 2016.
- Candidates should have acquired permanent registration with DCI/MCI or any state dental/medical council.
Application Form: How to Apply?
COMEDK PGET starts from November. Candidates must need to fill up the application form as per the instruction specified in the information brochure. Candidates are strongly advised to check the filled details before submission. Once your application form is submitted, no changes will be allowed to do. COMEDK PGET Exam Pattern

- COMEDK PGET exam will follow the syllabus of Dental Council of India (DCI) and Medical Council of India (MCI).
- Separate test will be organized for PG Medical and PG Dental.
- Every exam contains 180 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
- Exam duration will be for 180 minutes.
- There is no negative marking scheme available.
COMEDK PGET Admit Card
There is only mode of getting COMEDK PGET admit card i.e. online mode. Please keep in mind that no admit card will be sent to candidates through post or any other means. Candidates can download their respective admit card from January. The process of downloading the COMEDK PGET admit card is quite simple; all you need to enter your application number and password.
COMEDK PGET Result
COMEDK PGET result will be announced only for those candidates who have acquired the minimum qualifying marks. Candidates can find the test score of COMEDK PGET on February, whereas the COMEDK PGET rank will be announced on February.
COMEDK PGET Merit List
COMEDK PGET merit list gets prepared based on the marks acquired by candidates in the entrance test. As per the merit list, students will be called for the counselling procedure and as per their rank, seats will be allotted.
COMEDK PGET counselling
There is a centralized counselling will be organized for eligible candidates and seats allotment will be done on the basis of that only. While coming to attend the counselling procedure candidates are required to take a print out of the online rank card as without it they won’t be allowed to enter into the counselling venue.
