(Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental colleges of Karnataka) is conducting COMEDK PGET annually for the admissions of 600 MD, MS and MDS seats in the 12 Medical and 19 Dental participating Colleges of Karnataka. COMEDK had started a strategic coalition with ERA foundation (Educational Rating and Assessment Foundation) for conducting online entrance exams. COMEDK PGET entrance exam will conduct in the month of January 2018 at 78 cities and 38 centers in India.
COMEDK PGET has been replaced by NEET. Admissions will be based on NEET PG/MDS merit.

Those who wish to apply for COMEDK must know whether they are eligible to attend the exam or not. Here below, we are giving you an elucidation about the eligibility required to attend COMEDK entrance exam.
- Candidates belong to any states in India are eligible to attend the exam.
- The candidates belonging to General category must obtain 50% marks and the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe (All India)/Backward Classes are enough 40% marks.
- The applicant must have completed ‘Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship’ before 30th April 2018 and obtained Medical Council of India (MCI)/ Dental Council of India (DCI) certificate.
Type of Examination: It’s an online entrance examination.
Exam Syllabus: The questions pattern of COMEDK PGET is based on the syllabus that prescribed by Medical Council of India (MCI) and Dental Council of India (DCI)
The number of questions and Total Duration: There will be 180 multiple choice questions in COMEDK PGET, which have to attend in 180 Minutes time duration.
Marks: Each correct answer will get one mark. No negative marking system in COMEDK PGET.
The application form of COMEDK PGET will be out in the month of November. Read the guidelines once before start filling the application form. The candidates will make sure that all the details they entered are correct. No changes are possible in the submitted application. The admit card of the exam will be available in the month January. To download the application, the candidates have to enter the application number and password. Once after that, the candidates must print the Admit Card and carry it with a valid ID card to attend the exam.
Rank and Merit List
The organization releases only the results of candidates who were scored qualifying marks. The minimum percentage required for the candidates to pass in the examination is 50% (if General) OR 40% (if the candidate belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/Backward class)
Based on the result, the institute will prepare the merit list and later such short-listed candidates will invite for attending a counseling secession.
COMEDK PGET 2018 Counseling
The seats for the eligible candidates have distributed through single window system i.e. Centralized Counseling. The candidates appearing for COMEDK PGET must take a print out of ‘Online Rank Card’ which will be available for download on the official website of COMEDK i.e. https://www.comedk.org/
Note: No students are allowable to attend the COMEDK PGET without admit card.
