Established in 2000, University Institute of Technology (UIT) is the engineering department of Burdwan University, Burdwan (West Bengal), India. It is affiliated to Burdwan University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and the government of West Bengal. This University is situated in Burdwan, West Bengal, India. The campus has an educational alliance with Oracle Corporation, IBM etc and is recognized by TCS.

Campus

The UIT campus is a part of University of Burdwan’s campus and possesses a lush green campus. The campus of institution is situated on 100 km northwest of Kolkata, near the southern part of Grand Trunk Road. The nearest airport from this institute is in Kolkata which is just one and a half hours’ drive through the NH2.

Courses

The University Institute of Technology (UIT) offers graduate degree courses for six engineering disciplines and postgraduate courses in two engineering branches.
