About Symbiosis International University

Established in the year 2002, Symbiosis International University, Pune (SIU) is a well known private co-educational university situated in Pune, Maharashtra. It is considered as one among the best private universities in the country, offering various courses in the fields of Engineering, Science, Social Sciences, Management, Arts and Humanities, Bio-Medical, law and Health Sciences. The university is run and financed by Symbiosis Society established in 1971 by Padmashree S. B. Mujumdar. It has been given official recognition by the AICTE and UGC.

Campus

Symbiosis has many campuses covering multiple institutes within each. The Pune campus of Symbiosis International University is situated in the Lavale village in the outside of the Pune city. The university campus comprises excellent learning facilities. It is sited about 17 km from the Pune university and approx 25 km from Pune railway station.

Courses

The university is offering various graduate and postgraduate programmes in the streams of engineering, law, management etc. The programmes include UG, PG and Doctoral courses. The programmes offered by Symbiosis International University are approved by AICTE and affiliated to UGC.
