About Jabalpur College of Engineering
Established in 1947, Jabalpur Engineering College (JEC), previously known as Government Engineering College, Jabalpur, is the 15th oldest engineering institute in India. The college located in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India and known for the first institute of India to have commenced Electronics & Telecommunications engineering education in the country. The college offers bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees in engineering and applied sciences.
Campus
The campus is sprawled over 255 acres of lush green land. The location is well connected to city and is sited at a distance of 13 km from Jabalpur airport and approx 6 km from Jabalpur bus station. The college has developed a small township centered on Gokulpur and Ranjhi, the campus area has picturesque view.
Courses
JEC offers various courses in graduate and postgraduate engineering branches. The college has eleven educational departments. JEC has started some new courses in management, engineering, design, town planning, architecture, pharmacy, business laws and cyber by the year 2013.

Placement
The JEC has an excellent Training and Placement department consisting of a team of highly qualified faculty members having great experience in training and placement related activities. The Training and placement cell handles all the queries and issues related training and placement and also conducts personality development programs, industrial visits and summer training programs for the students.
